I'm seeing that both iOS and Android users, even Android users running custom ROMs, still received this alert. If a user opts out, but the wireless system can just bypass their choice, then why even have a choice? 😡 The illusion of choice foils us again.

So many new 'tests' of emergency alert systems recently in many nations.
The psychological reaction to a scheduled false alert is just the same as to an unscheduled, real alert. Like 'trigger warnings' are just as triggering as the trigger.
