Still not working. Upgraded and went for a walk, but it just doesn't do anything. Logged in using Amber, permissions granted, this time no error on "Move to Earn" screen. Same phone as before, a POCO F5 running crDroid 9.10 (A13). Two other apps using the Physical Activity sensors (RUNSTR and Pedometer) work as intended, so it's not the phone causing the issue.

I tested the scenario with an emulator. We are not throwing the correct error messages / guides it seems on this issue.

Most likely it is because we are using the latest SDK to record motion activity also when the app is not running. You would have to update google play services if possible and see if that helps.

The so called "Recording API on mobile", which is part of the fitness library was released in May of 2024. OS that can not be updated to this point lack support for this feature.

We want our app to have access to the whole step data that is internally recorded on the device by the OS.
