He was most famous for the TV series Twin Peaks, and the first movie adaption of Dune. If only the studio had given him 2 films or one long one, instead of making him condense the whole story into one standard feature film.
Now that makes me really sad... may he rest in peace.
Man, I will never forget the bone-chilling suspense and the mind-bending twist of the sixth sense. RIP
