Observed two Queen butterflies east of Scottsdale AZ. One was a bit faded and the other was quite brightly colored. Besides the occasional homeowner or park. There are very few milkweed host plants in the immediate vicinity. Perhaps some climbing milkweed vines went unseen. Lots of nectar for them this December.
