This is the cutest most awesome nightmare stuff I've ever seen. My 6yo would love a spider, but I found out even the nicest tarantulas are still poisonous - and since we both have mild allergy to mosquitoes, bees and some other critters, I don't want to find out👀😬

These aren’t tarantulas, they’re jumping spiders! They only get the size of your thumbnail. They’re very gentle and friendly!

So cute! When I encounter them in the garden, I usually observe them for awhile.

Part of that time is spent observing them while they are watching me.

They call them the cats of the spider world! They’re very curious and will definitely observe you as much as you do them!

They aren’t for everyone! But these guys are super cute and are a great way to learn to respect spiders (that’s how I got into them, to get over my fear of spiders!)
