You missed talking about the most important part: that KYC is not improving anyone’s security, not helping fighting fraud or money laundering, it only creates layers upon layers of attack surfaces and risk for normal people that want to transact with their own money. It’s a criminal invasion of privacy that must end, or these attacks will continue and become “normalised”.
