I'm not sure he has a chance, but he might. He's not the perfect candidate, but if he loses in the primary, it just gives me more reasons to write the Democratic party off for good.
I'll then just default back to, I'll vote only for the candidates that support Bitcoin. I'm a single issue voter. I don't care about the other issues nearly as much, if we can fix the money, none of it will matter.
People have done this before, but they didn't stop there, they tried to scam Damus users by stealing their branding. Was really lame. Makes me think scams and shitcoins go hand-in-hand.
I would recommend using either separate ports or separate RPC gateway paths, or, just never closing the socket but instead making the RPC interface methods stateful, creating a method to check the state, and an error code to correspond to a method called on the wrong state.
Have you considered doing a paid relay? For it to be economical, you'd need to start small, and you'd also need to it to be reliable as it scales. I hear you on that! What I do is I just use the browser version. It's not as good as native, but that's kind of the point.
