Neat! I didn't know Obsidian could do that. What do you use it for?

That is a cool feature of Primal :)

lol, have we met? I'm not the kind of gay whose entire personality is "I'm gay".

I'm not sure what you're saying, but the Paws on Pearl furs seem neat, but I haven't gone in a long time, and I don't go suiting or nothing. Furries aren't generally known to be accepting of bitcoiners. I've found more acceptance of being a furry bitcoiner than I have being a bitcoiner amongst furries, remarkably enough. Too many of them don't understand money. Regardless, it's a part of my identity, and has been for a long time, and I'm pretty unafraid of being out about it. Besides, it's better than doxing myself. Furries have normalized good opsec.

The more I look into Prime, the more convinced I've become this is the future of Bitcoin. Prime will do for Bitcoin what smartphones did for the internet, or what FinTech did for banking. Prime makes things like RGB transactions on Bitcoin viably scalable, with an incredibly minimal on-chain footprint.

It almost certainly obviates the perception of necessity for drivechains, since Prometheus state channels can arbitrate a 2WP. It does not require changes to the base protocol, it only uses layers, and as a result, is entirely permissionless.

Protocol ossifiooors have been vindicated. Prime is a fantastic defense against attacks on Bitcoin: Those wanting the security of Bitcoin, but needing the scalability for utility use-cases.

If you're interested in Prime, I highly recommend joining the discussion group on Telegram and catch up on the conversations we've been having there:

And if you believe in doing the work instead of just taking my word for it, read the spec yourself:

This service looks really cool. Gonna try it out for a nostr relay for some really neat stuff we're cooking up for diba.io. nostr:note1s7lmda25nlnfgurt30x84ddmjccdtt49jyalmwchd4pwwag624wqzm0adk

You mean, how monetary debasement and bread and circuses and fruitless expensive foreign adventures resulted in the decline of an empire? Yeah, I think about that every day...

Especially when you consider the single family home is the ideal place to raise a family, not apartment units or condos or triplexes. If we're not building more houses, we're reducing ideal housing for families, discounting the future to band-aid over problems of the present. It's really sad, and once you realize it, there's no going back to the world you once knew.
