one way would be to use your domain... like mahdi@no.str.cr.   Soon most implementations would recognize it

I think Nostr Pub keys are not yet that secure to also use as single log in to all other sites. I got my private key compromised for instance and is hard to reset your identity and it’ll be harder if that identity is also giving you access to tons of places?

Regarding that weird thing that happened to me from this new profile is the following

I open my app and see a notification that I have a DM

But that DM happened to be sent by myself to someone else with some LNBits wallet

I believe is the same as the one Anigma generates but:

1- who did they send a message from my own account if I haven’t used my private key and only used a signer for web apps (and my private key on Damus?)

2- why this hack occurs this way where they send this info from my own account (which is visible to me?)

3- if they have this and have sent this message do they have my private key? Or they might have cheated my signer to sign this message only?

My profile on all platforms was also suddenly empty… now I had to reload it. Again, I’m only using external signers.. so not sure how could that happen

Very weird thing:

Despite of creating a new private key that I didn't use anywhere other than adding it to Alby, Nos2x and Damus IOS and Mac, I just got again a DM sent from my own address to someone else with an LNURL wallet associated to this ip. The wallet from Anigma... but I didn't even log in to Anigma with my private key

I'm just puzzled with this because someone leaked my private key.. otherwise how can this be possible that a DM is sent my IP.

It's frustrating because intentionally I didn't use any site that would not support external signers.

Anybody else with similar problem of getting  a sudden strange DM?
