#Bitcoin minimalist, Nostrian, techy. (EspaΓ±ol/English). @bourbonni on Twitter

Are Damus DM’s sorted in a weird way? I was seeing notifications of a DM but after tapping on DM I couldn’t easily find out who’s sent me a message .. I found it at the bottom

πŸ™Œ. FΓjate de ver en mi perfil y seguir a los que sigo. Eso te va a ayudar a tener un primer feed razonable o busca a cualquier otro y fΓjate a quienes sigue. Otra cosa, vΓa web usa external signers (Alby o Nos2x chrome extensions)

Tried it but I’m still struggling to figure out as it was not picking up my follows I think

I'm speaking about Nostr this days the same way I was speaking about Bitcoin in my early days. Where people don't exactly understand why is needed or what it is about, and may not be ready yet to navigate the complexities of learning a new space but is a lot of fun anyways

is this just a locally stored info, client’s specific? Or this is something Nostr protocol/relays store?.

maybe then people that everybody blocks can serve as a signal that it maybe an impostor. Although you can then get bots that target you and block you as well just to make you look bad.

It’s public already.. you can search for all the documentation and there is a GitHub ready

if a client mutes a person, does that information gets stored in a relay?. Because if that info is public then, knowing that a person has lots of β€œmute” or β€œblocks” can help you filter out spammers or impostors

Most people wondering how did Luke lost bitcoins claiming he had a hot wallet but what you may be missing is that, by the time he got those bitcoins.. wallets did not have bip39.. you would normally get a flat file β€œwallet.db” with all your private keys one by one that you then needed to store carefully

He probably made a mistake of never migrating to a HW and thinking that he could manage those keys with PGP securely but clearly that was the wrong assumption

I also have keet :)… hoping we’ll figure out how best to combine efforts with Nostr and use each for what they are best at

Well but I’m referring to channels where you post something that doesn’t go to the global feed.. only those in the channel see it

Why some people say that channels are supported in Damus? I can’t see how if that’s the case

Are they referring to some other implementation?
