Maybe I just need to run my own relay on a VPS? Might be a fun experiment.
Been experimenting with the Umbrel Nostr relay. So far it only seems to capture events from Damus and only when my client is on tailscale. I guess that makes sense but isn't super practical.

Been watching TramaZone by Adam Curtis. The fall of the Soviet Union and the aftermath reminds me of the human condition where we hate something for so long and then its gone, what follows seems so bad we want to go back to that terrible thing we were just freed from. Seeing the people longing for Stalin reminded me of the Israelites leaving Egypt in the Old Testament. Some missed their slave masters when they were in the wilderness. What's my point? The idea of convincing people through politics is a waste of time. Lead the way. Make the future yourself. Create the technology and if it is better it will win. Eventually. Don't waste time trying to tell people. Show them.
With Nostr is there a way to change or add a new keypair? Wondering about folks who expose their private keys.
