True

Standard...

Agree 🤝

But what if they're in a special order? 🙃

So virgins are not a thing?

Something sublime about receiving sats from another pleb, instead of a normal buy

Feels like another plebs 1sat sent to my wallet is like, 1.1 sats

all sats are rare

It’s also true😎⚡️

I'm just trying to make the sats-I-own variety less rare

PV🤙⚡️

Like car’s the first sat created and the last sat created will be the only two rare sats

Hard-earned sats feel more valuable though.

Maybe time better spent just stacking them.

Rare Coins exist in Fiat and it works fine.

This doesn't come off as some huge attack to me. A few sats in a haystack

💯👆

1 sat = 1 sat

"rare sats" do not exist

all sats are rare 🧡

💯

True, all the other shit will come and go. Bitcoin will remain the same 🧡

completely retarded who thinks otherwise

They should change it to the 69th sat in the second output, that would for sure be more valuable.

ask the ordinals 2PAINT it using photoshop - 1SAT LN = 10SAT mainnet😂

i give u 1 WBTC in AVAX u swap for 2 BTC on mainnet LOL

My take away from what I've heard Casey discuss on your show and #[2] 's is that you must first subscribe to the idea that sats can be tracked from inputs to outputs and I just disagree with this too. Someone could come along tomorrow and point out a flaw in the way that this is being tracked and existing ordinal believers will have to ignore that to maintain the value of their rare sats.

Sats are scarce… even better

Always was

“Rare sats” are mere distraction and “arrogance.”

Stay humble and stack sats. 🫡

Enemies of monetary fungibility are enemies of humanity. They want slavery for you.

hm idk man,

if 1 sat = 1 sat and they were all equal, we wouldn't need coinjoin.

Inscriptions didn't change anything, but it did take advantage of sats being distinguishable

but if you wanna say your sats "identify as" fungible, I will try and address them as such to not hurt their feelings.

either way, this sat looks rare idc what anyone says

All sats are rare sats.

If all sats are rare, then none of them are

🤯

Someone wants to buy my primal sat?

Excellent point - who cares what "inscription" it is linked to. The inscriptions are public data. They are not owned by anyone

all sats are equal, but some sats are more equal than others

but some are mythical

Soo many sats, yet so rare. Ironically its bitcoins ☯️

Imagine trying to trade your 1 "rare sat" for 2 "regular sats" - expect to be declined

Even satoshi's sats are not rare. Because sats are only numbers in a ledger.

(Satoshi UTXOs have a special power though, when they move people will panic!)

Every sat is rare

But people will pay more to own a sat that they view as special in some way.

Your post is making an impact.

Fungible

Satoshi’s Sats are rare Sats 😉

Sats do not exist at all.

All sats are rare. Stack accordingly

What I love about all this is that if people wanna do silly stuff with their sats they can. Bitcoin keeps chugging along unfazed. Permission-less

Either that or they are all "rare". Either way all sats are equal. Fungibility is essential for Money.

Bitcoin is scarce enough.

phew

Nor do “bitcoin NFT’s” 😤 https://youtube.com/shorts/P24ElTdjI_Y?feature=share

The law of fungibility: Non Fungible is not the same as Fungible.

I’ll give you one “rare sat” but remember it IS the most “rare” of “rare sats”, because it’s “rare”

Congrats. You threw money into something that slowed up the blockchain for two weeks and only has meaning as long as there are people who interpret on-chain data given a very specific way that hasn't even been formalized in a BIP. Sounds like a cult. WOW CASEY IS A GENIUS.

So is that true with ordinals/inscriptions now too?

Maybe, there will be a time, before hyperbitcoinization, where some ordinal sats are less worthy then non ordinal sats.

Yes they do. All sats are rare.

Ordinals : Bitcoin = Jewelry : Gold

Rare SATs exist man

Good point, big fan of the bible ordinals and 3d printing plns though

Oh really, tell that to sat number 69420deadbeef1337

How is this supposed to work anyways? When a UTXO is partially spent and split to two different addresses, are both newly created UTXOs "special" coins? I really don't get the mindset behind these people.
