Bitcoin will become a large scale medium of exchange, not when people will chose to spend it, but when merchants will specifically ask to be paid in bitcoin.

probably because:

1/ it is an ATH for ants compared to what people expected even for last cycle

2/ many currency have not make ATH yet (GBP, EUROS...), dollar has plumetted more than BTC went up since last 109k high
