Totally agree. The instant the first beam on sunlight reappeared, you had to immediately look away. The lights were back on. Then, when putting the eclipse glasses back on, it was only a narrow crescent if a sun.
I was looking over my eclipse photos from yesterday. I'm not a good photographer! Learned that you (a) need the right equipment and (b) need to be prepared with a game plan.
It's all good though. I knew my amateur pics would be nothing like pro pics. Plus, I wanted to cherish the moment more than futz with cameras.

I'm happy to say, "I just skipped Facebook." To be honest, I never understood it...the interface never made sense to me so I never did anything with it. The funny thing was that my wife (who uses it on occasion) tried to friend me, but me not understanding what was going on, I either denied her friend request or accepted then unfriended her. I don't even know. (But she knows and reminds me on occasion!) 😄
Plan to watch the #eclipse tomorrow, staying in this cute little cabin a couple of days. It's not terribly close to the totality zone, but we're gonna try to get there. #adventure in #weather!

Spent most of yesterday getting to a locale from which to watch the #eclipse tomorrow. Gonna wait ti morning to decide on watch day location...depends on the #weather.
