My layman's answers are (1) yes in favor, no, not too dangerous because half-broken is broken, and (2) when enough hash power decides it's broken so as to change it, then it's broken. My layman's thoughts are: test things like OP_CAT for years, then activate it. Maybe.

Fair enough. I can appreciate that you wouldn't want to take advantage of someone. So the thinking is...suppose I had a, this is stupid, but suppose I had a jelly bean and someone thought it was special and wanted to pay me $1M for that bean. Part of me says, "Deal!" But you're saying, "No, friend, I'm not gonna do that to you." I can respect that.
Not sure I agree, Nunya. Understood, 1 sat = 1 sat. However, suppose you had that one "epic" sat ("first" sat in the block after last halving), would you trade it with one of mine one to one? What if I gave you two sats for that one, would that be okay.
Just BTW, that sat sold for $2.1 million...it sold for 330000000 sats.

I've tested https://nostr-delete.vercel.app/ a few times, never had any luck.
Most recently, my "Test" note15a6ufyzezt7n5rqevulfv2quwa7yr58t674pr9gt3j24fl04s2dsc33yhy was put into the site above, enter. It seems to "go through." Yet, over at https://nostrexplorer.com the event a775c4905912fd3a0c19673e96281c777c41d0ebd7aa11950b8c9554fdf5829b shows it's still there (plus, it's still there in my notes feed).
Nothing else...just sayin'.

Not sure. 1. I didn't try to delete the njump, just stuck it here. 2. I thought all relays were being asked to delete. My guess is that you're right...at least one did not delete and I'm drawing from that one or two. Thanks for the reply, appreciated.
Great! To place an image on the community, do you mean the background image? If so, there's a place in the "edit commumity" forn on nostrudel for that. If you just mean an image in a post/note, just add it the way you would add an image any other time ( I think). At times I've found I need to host the image somewhere, anywhere, then copy paste I. The url to that image.
I wish I would have started on Nostr with by signing up in a place that gives a BIP-39 twelve word seed phrase. Is there any way to smoothly switch or decipher my seed phrase from my nsec or hex priv key? This would be a good suggestion for anyone your are purple pilling. I wrote a tutorial for anyone starting, basically talking to myself as if I were to start today!

Not sure why, but I've never seemed to have luck with it. Did a test yesterday or the day before, the notes are still there. Maybe it's something I'm doing, but...still there.
Folks seem pretty tense and uptight today around #nostr after news yesterday. Might be a good day to get outside, do a little gardening, take a walk, breathe.

Hello world. Doing a little community test here.
Hmm, okay. I'd think it'd be bidirectional but I don't know. When I first made my keys, I didn't know of a tool like nostrtool.com that generates seed words AND nsec. So, I just have nsec yet wish I had words too for backup purposes. Another reason I wish it were possible to "transfer" everything from nsec-1 to nsec-2. Oh well. Thanks tho.
