I spent most of my career cleaning up after academics.. all the business rescues after botched timeframes and blown complexites.

The professors left me to deliver the things that they couldn't at whatever fraction of budget still present after they gave up and turned tail.

The problem as you noticed is that internet nodes follow a contract on which packets to relay, traffic rules are strictly hierarchical.

Solving problems with supernodes will increase resource requirements indefinitely.

Prior works that provide overlay routing and transport are: TOR/onion and Batman-router.

DHTs are very efficient for service discovery, but tricky to establish a link.

Current status: flash block storage, SWAP protocol, negentropy sync implemented.

They communicate with eachother but the js-websocket wrapper needs to be ported in order to read/post notes using a phone.

A prototype skin has also been designed, haven't sent it to the printshop cause it dosent sit right yet.
