Umbrel isn’t open source: https://github.com/getumbrel/umbrel-os/blob/master/LICENSE
I think #umbrel isn’t FOSS, even if their code is public on github. So, your concern is legitimate.
The new @Umbrel website is a true masterpiece, showcasing their new product, the Umbrel Home. Planning an in-depth review of their groundbreaking software, which I'm currently using for my node. https://umbrel.com #Umbrel #SelfSovereignty #Innovation #UmbrelHome

Reviewing the Coldcard MK4 Wallet by #coinkite shouldn’t be done in one day. You need some days, even weeks to get used to it. It’s nothing like any other wallet and yes, the learning curve can be steep if you are a beginner. Freedom and safety ain’t easy. Review coming soon! #coldcard #satscard #bitcoin
Yes, but FedEx still send you a physical letter to your address with the invoice afterward, so pay attention to don't pay them twice.
Nobody knows the private key and it always changes when you use it, I think this is one of the major differences compared to anything else. Tonight I will use it to buy some bitcoin with cash, at a pizza day meeting. I can still verify, but I don't need to bring any cable, app, wallet or whatever to receive the Bitcoin. It's so frictionless.
It may cost a few dollars, but it's a "device" and a protective case that costs to manufacture. Anyway, it's still definitely cheaper than the average hardware wallet and insanely more secure than the average software wallet. For small payments like $100 dollars I think it's better lightning. SATSCARD is great for a gift idea, bigger sums and also don't forget that you can re-use it up to ten times. So when you are passing it to somebody, the counterparty must understand that there are more than 1 slot and that benefit should be included in the transaction, I think.
Super cheap. Starts from $6.99… The cash in the photo it’s just to show how powerful this little card is.
With FedEx it arrives in about a week, from Canada to Europe. It’s not fast as Amazon, but it’s a good service with a very precise tracking and possibility ti buy customs fees online (very low).
Can I ask why? And, have you tried It? I’m trying to find downsides to it. For now the biggest is that if you lose the card, you lose all the btc in it. There is no way to backup it. Which is probably a good thing.
Exactly! Going to bring this tomorrow at the Pizza day (they do it one day later, don’t know why) where I will probably buy some sats by exchanging cash. Much lighter than an hardware wallet, no need to charge it, no need for an app if I just want to receive. It’s becoming my favorite bitcoin product…
