If the total value of the world is 5 quadrillion USD and gold’s 253,000 tons total value is 16 trillion USD, then bitcoin’s value should be 321 million dollars. If I do this for oil, I get 250 million dollars. If I do corn, 240 million. Cattle, 240 million dollars.

Bitcoin is the base currency. If gold is valued at 50400 bitcoin, it will always be 50400 bitcoin in the context of the soundest money ever created.

Ironic that you used the word “Trumped” in that sentence. At least the illusory system in the US makes people feel like they have some control. The whole damn system is broken and so far away from what was originally intended, I don’t see a road back. The rats congregate at centralized power/money…. at all levels, and they will say/do anything to stay there. And the people cheer and stare at their phones.

The entire country needs to find a way to collectively give the entire federal government and agencies the middle finger. Voting for one guy won’t do it. Consumption tax only! They won’t do that because they lose some control.
