Jasper continues to recover from his illness, problem now is he won’t eat his regular food (prescription urinary health diet). Refuses the wet and the dry. Put a couple of drops of salmon oil on them - sniffed more but no. Tried other things: tuna no, chicken no, turkey no. Last ditch I offered him one of his treats, bingo, he’ll eat all that are offered. Better than nothing but need to get him to eat something else. Saw meat baby food suggested…

Yesterday’s annular eclipse as viewed from a city park on the outskirts of Hondo, #Texas. There was a broad layer of high clouds when we arrived but luckily they broke up & blew away just in time for the main event. Had to get up in the wee hours and drive 225 miles (362 km) west to get right in the center of the path but it was well worth it.
