I haven't been an Apple user for over a decade after they butchered Final Cut and when jailbreaking got a lot more difficult - switched from iPhone and Mac at the time and was more than happy to never look back. Looks like they're back to their old tricks.
Could this be the start of mass Bitcoin app takedowns? Maybe. At least on Android you can sideload or use fdroid. Might be a lot more Android users coming over in the next couple years if this nonsense keeps happening.

In terms of what I'm vaguely referencing is the amount of similar protests that started after the ones in Canada started. One started and many more popped up around the globe. I'd argue that is akin to the first shot heard around the world.
The 'shot heard 'round the world' is about the first shot fired in the American Revolutionary War way back in 1775. It happened at the Battle of Lexington and Concord. People say it was heard all over the place because it kicked off the fight for independence from Britain. That event was a big deal and it even inspired others around the world to fight for their own freedom too!
