Well it was me. I didn't set up ssh key auth right and wasn't entering my password 🤦. Its doing something now
Not sure if I have one yet. Deploying with krops is just waiting not sure if it's doing something just without output or I broke something
Trying to run nix-bitcoin
simple proof of concept #cashu webapp that allows you to set mint, nostr key and relay then create invoices and dms you the tokens. Could be used as a pos.

I need a local Irish account number that revlout isn't giving me.
I can set up a Bitcoin node faster then I can figure out how to get money into my wise account
Hey nostr:npub1nc0ynppqh37rtulr57xjqpzmfjp58xrd4ey8896ehn9j5flg33fszrz5pa ! I just got done setting up your CLNURL plugin. Small question; when specifying the pubkey, do I use the pubkey used for the account set just for the zap-signing account, or my actual "social media" pubkey? I went to read what your well-known/lnurlp returned and saw you used your actual pubkey whilst the a tutorial I was reading didn't specify that... Would love to have a bit of clarification :) Planning to combine this with cln-zapper-rs!
`clnurl_nostr_pubkey` should be a new keypair for the zapper
I tried to look into this but was never able to reproduce. Maybe I just don't zap enough. I'm migrating my node so will give it another try see if I come up with anything
Did you send a message? I got mine awhile ago so I would guess just a mistake somewhere.
It would be cool if #cashu mints could do zaps. I built a service that can give you a lnurl and nostr dm the cashu tokens for ln invoices paid to the ln address. But doesn't work for zaps as you need to set the description and that would wreck privacy to the mint.
It's certainly possible. But Im not sure the incentive for that to happen is there. I don't think running a mint with ever be that profitable as it's to easy (will be too easy) to create a competing mint naturally leading to many small mints that users will be able to choose from. How users choose remaines to be seen, how much the trust the operator(s), if or what fee they charge, etc. I think it's fairly likely to go through a phase of only a few mints in early adoption but in order to be successful it will reach many smaller mints that have to compete.
Fedi and cashu are interoperable via lighting
It's all a balance of tradeoffs. Cashu and fedi mints allow users to not have to deal with channels and liquidity but it is custodial. However if we can make mints easy enough to run that the mint operator is only a few degrees of separation from the user, along with the privacy benefits of using a mint think it's a good trade off.
Prevailing winds also push you that way.
kaloudis just announced nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 no longer requires you run a separate lightning node 🫡
- embedded node on your phone
- no channel management necessary
- self custody as expected
- users will be prompted at first start if they want to connect to an existing remote node or create a new wallet

Ldk?
