Your outside-of-Nostr following may give you a slight head start among Nostr users who also followed you elsewhere, but ultimately you need to be here and active and engaging consistently in order to be successful.

This is why I’ve stopped trying to “make the sell” to people who don’t get it. I used to feel bad for these people but I’ve been mocked and laughed at for 14 years straight, all the way from 30 cents to today.
