Because fiatjaf released nostr as open source software individuals around the world are able to build and iterate on the protocol without permission.

Open source software is viral in nature. It spreads and grows without a company or individual controlling it. With a project like nostr still in its infancy it is amazing to watch the power of open source collaboration in action.

People love to argue about which open source license is best. Fiatjaf’s license is two words: “Public domain.”

Use Flexible Round Optimized Schnorr Threshold (FROST) signatures to create a joint nostr account with your friends.

FROST is a threshold multisignature (t-of-n), so to make a post/event you require t parties to individually sign and contribute signature shares. These signature shares are then combined into a single schnorr signature which is valid under the joint public key.

yea strange, I get the same error when I test from breez with the raw lnurl but not with the lightning address which goes through and is shown on the leaderboard here: https://geyser.fund/project/citadel, must be something on geyser.fund’s side, will report to them

Got it, replaced it with the lnurl version, try it now

Do I have to add a certain prefix in Damus settings? My lightning address works usually, it is citadel@geyser.fund
