A longer than usual hobby session today as I dial in the color scheme and start looking for best-matching mixes from my four-color palette for the Citadel paints I've been using for the previous tests.

Unlike my last attempt at Zorn nids, these colors are much easier to mix and the hardest colors to match get covered up by the easier colors, allowing for mistakes.

So close. Going to try another different thing and paint the flesh and glow effects after I apply the track wash. Was contemplating it earlier this week and then saw Cult of Paint do something similar with their shiny new Cities minis.

Touched up his eyes with a brighter highlight to make them standout more.

Didn't move quick today, was painting on a Discord call with friends. But did get the most notable of the small details taken care of, like the purity seal parchments and the yellow of the hard stripe cables.
