Checkout my latest discussion about the blocksize wars and CTV Peter on What Bitcoin Did here:
The war for the best, most free, and neutral money will not be fought and won solely on the battleground of privacy. Instead, its fate will ultimately be decided on the battleground of custody.
Because unless a significant enough portion of the supply is held in self-custody, control will inevitably revert back to those central authorities who would gladly prefer to hold your bitcoin for you.
Stop giving interviews to Roger, he does nothing but lie.
If you did just 5 minutes of research you'd see he:
-Vouched for MtGox solvency
-Promoted $700M Bitclub ponzi
-partnered & promoted Craig Wright
-partnered & promoted $36M ICO FuzeX scam
-promoted shitokens like Hex
-Put a "Buy Bitcoin" button that sells you BCash
-Denied he did any of these things
I don't know who needs to hear this but rollups are not a valid scaling solution for bitcoin.
Glad MSTR is going up in dollars but holding anything other than bitcoin is essentially short bitcoin.

The only actual bitcoin L2s on this website are LN, Mercury and Ark. Liquid, Stacks and Rootstock are credible sidechains but not L2s.
Quite well thank you, just sad to see bitcoinmagazine going so hard on ordinals, it will only further erode their brand.
ICOs were unregulated securities, NFTs are a joke, DeFi was full of scams and putting JPEGs on a blockchain is just as dumb as putting bananas on a blockchain.
Waiting for this fad to pass like the rest.
There are regulated exchanges and markets for bitcoin all around the world and the volume is certainly not a "minority", the decentralized exchange volume like Bisq and the like in comparison is minuscule.
Regulated markets have the most volume for a reason.
Also literally no one said bitcoin itself cared about law.
You are confusing markets with assets.
Trading bitcoin is mostly done in regulated markets on regulated exchanges.
Trading anything on an unregulated exchange in an unregulated market is suicide, this is common sense.
Try trading in unregulated markets and find out.
ETHEREUM IS AND ALWAYS WAS AN UNLICENSED UNREGISTERED SECURITY.
Welcome to law.
I tried to tell Roger that he was wrong in private DMs and exactly why he would ultimately lose but he refused to listen, and now he's crying about losing in a book. What a sad, pathetic soul.
In the early days I helped create a petition to get Coinbase to support segwit, and it worked, maybe we have to do it again to get them to support the Lightning Network.
Recording an episode of the WBD (What Bitcoin Did) podcast on Monday and I'm going to mention #LNHANCE as much as possible.
Been trying to tell people since 2017-2018 that LN will slowly but surely become the interoperable layer that connects bitcoin to every other financial network on the planet.

Today I'm thankful for all the hardworking people in bitcoin. There's so many of you that will forever go unseen, unheard and are 100% completely fine with that. I salute you.
