My fur babies were watching cats on TV last night. We don't watch TV with them often, but it was fun for them.

But at least we're finally getting some rain. My homestead garden is in desperate need of real rain. Groundwater from a garden hose just isn't the same.

Kinda like that instant coffee stirred into hot water isn't the same as brewed fresh ground coffee beans.

I turned it upside down and saw a harp seal pup 🦭 laying on the melting ice up in the Arctic Circle.

It has black toes sticking out. Must be a mixed breed?🤔🦭

I thought I'd share with you something beautiful I saw yesterday morning as I walked through my young forest garden and sipped some coffee.

It was a very cool morning and as the sun rose I saw this little butterfly hanging on until it warmed up enough for him to fly off.

I see a flying squirrel with his ears tucked and his little winged arms spread out. He is standing on his hind legs with his back to a tree. And there's a lot of fluttering of leaves behind him in the background.

I think he just landed and came face-to-face with a cotote or possibly someone's dog.
