In 2020, a dear brother at the time based in Europe, now in Pakistan brought me onboard Revolut without me fully comprehending the potential consequences. The idea of instant transactions, p2p, messaging within and fun way to manage money with insights and data and the ability to buy crypto within the app intrigued me. Their partnership with ANZ Bank is legitimate. But little did I know that the very features I admired could be the ones we are to avoid in future.
While I didn't invest in any shitcoins, I did happily let the 2020 crypto bull run lead me to leave my life savings in the hands of strangers on the internet. I simply developed a bad habit of checking the screens to often. Little did I reflect upon what is happening, what this is, who should I talk to. Way too many negative mixed news on X platform. I let myself become a slave to the glow of screens, pushing my sanity and mental health to the brink. The long and difficult path to recovery taught me the importance of patience, perseverance, and humility.
I earned access to mentors in 2023 and that inspired me to pick up the Bitcoin Standard - the author's perspective has helped develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of the transformative potential of blockchain technology. We must be cautious not to build our own digital cage though, but instead elevate and uplift the entire ecosystem, regardless of age or background. Let's have an open and honest discussion. Let's get to know each other better. Let's build a better future together, like the ancient 'Silk Roads' that connected and enriched the greatest minds in human history. This is our moment for the 'silk roads' of cyberspace. It's an honor to make your acquaintance, what excites you? As we depart from the rich ‘Old Gaurd’ values system of convenience of the industrial age - how can we align our values system for the upcoming information age and develop our own education and business value chains.

I agree with the separation philosophy.. but not with the idea that it is being applied in that ecosystem to get services/goods flowing..
I don’t think ‘money’ alters the genocidal intent and plays absolute zero role in that economy and ecosystem.. more about influence and humanity action from inherent will for good..
one wouldn’t do for money

GN Nostr! Didn’t think I would be studying the Romans at this stage of our civilisation… how did I get inspired to do so

Lol! But we know… We have been advised
1. Righteous Child
2. Beneficial knowledge
3. Continuous Charity
Accomplishing all three is monumental - atleast aspire to for one ☝️

How many more civilian lives turned to dust?
This was filmed today in #Beirut—where the #war machine hides behind the skies, raining UStaxpayers funded Israeli missiles on city buildings, too cowardly to face the Lebanese on the ground inside #Lebanon. https://video.nostr.build/0d38c6cf2245d801197dfff5b28be1925ab59ee66b691ef6d3d4a0f936a2c09a.mp4 nostr:note1epy6p3xe4072h47ga29v099c65snuapvslx5z45ufrd280atyc8q4h2vtq
Patience

This phrase, "In your darkest hour, the squirrel arrives," is an idiom that conveys a sense of unexpected help or support coming from an unlikely source. The phrase implies that even when someone is facing a difficult or seemingly hopeless situation, help or relief can still come from an unexpected or unassuming source, much like a squirrel might be considered an unassuming animal.
In this phrase, the squirrel represents the unassuming or unexpected source of help, and the "darkest hour" refers to the most challenging or difficult moment a person is experiencing. The phrase can be interpreted as a reminder that even in the most desperate or dire situations, hope or assistance can still emerge from unexpected places or people.
In 2005/2006 - when in London I was taking driving lessons. Two squirrels darted infront of me. I couldn’t avoid one, hit the brake too late. Saw its mate look over its body in the rear view mirror. I was 20yo.
“You swerve to avoid a squirrel. Unknown to you, the squirrel pledges a life debt to you.”
