Government regulation of AI could be the best thing to happen to Bitcoin.

For one it is already drawing attention away from Bitcoin and this will only increase as it accelerates. The longer Bitcoin is under the radar the better.

Secondly, the cat is already out of the bag - no amount of regulation can stop AI now so if Government is stupid enough to try all it will do is force people either to break the law or move offshore.

But this is important because people will see that tech regulation like this is both meaningless and counterproductive so having it happen around AI first would be of great benefit to Bitcoin. Not only will we have more learning of how to deal with an adversarial State, but likely it will soften more people to Bitcoin and make them curious if it too is then banned.

Whilst I completely reject the doomerism around AI and think these end of the world scenarios are foolish, I’m now inclined to support government intervention if only to help Bitcoin by proxy.

BTW you can connect your Trezor with mobile phone already now (using cable) via Trezor Suite mobile web app, but it is only supported in Chrome browser for android 🤝

V mym okoli se toho vetsina lidi furt boji nebo pro to nevidej vyuziti. Nutne agresivne negativni pohled na to ma ale malokdo.

Korona byla celkem silnym adopcnim momentem. To me par lidi dost prekvapilo... jenze vetsinou nadseni preslo do mensiho nebo vetsiho shitcoinerstvi.

Nektery se taky zucastnili bullmarketu koupi GBTC, ale jenom na rychly svezeni. "Tyvole ja sem se v zivote nebal nic takhle drzet, takze jsem to okolo 22k rychle prodal". A jako z dlouhodobyho hlediska u GBTC spis spravnej postoj.

Drzi vlastne maruska jeste svoji GBTC pozici nebo se toho zbavil? Zajimavy taky jak se po nem slehla zem (jenom dobre).

Bitcoin je pro něj pochybná věc, všechno ostatní taky, všechno je crypto. Nerozlišuje. Bitcoineři jsou snílci. Je ale podnikavý a před tak více než dvěma lety začal těžit ETH (kdyby začal těžit písek, bylo by to pro něj emocionálně stejné) a teď kouká na dva rigy, které mu stojí nevyužité doma v pokoji. Uzavřel tuhle svou životní epizodu ve ztrátě, zatím. Životní paradoxy, jojo.

Perhaps Ledger relies on the fact that the more bitcoin becomes mainstream, the less people will understand what a hardware wallet is, how it works, and what its biggest advantage should be 🤦‍♂️

Coldcard and Bitbox have never been hacked. Why make up things to say? I will not debate this point further.
