I was able to send 21 sats but larger amounts fail. I also tried increasing the max routing fee (e.g. from 50 to 500 for 10K sats) but no luck.

As soon as I have my hardware wallet (Jade plus, I git it for 130€ free shipping and paying with btc) I'll star using this awesome software.

Its amazing that this is free and open source, so other developers can contribute, use and learn from your work ams knowledge.

Open source gives me hope in life.

I am not sure where that data is coming from, but it is not what I see. I have tons of friends that use solar for most things. My brother has a full year of credit from the grid because of that. It's not mind-blowing from a monetary perspective, but it is a huge win for decentralization.

That's nonsense. Lots of electricity users use more power on their property than decentralized power sources like solar could ever hope to provide economically.

Peak sunlight is only ~1000W/m², and even the most exotic solar panels are at best 45% efficient. And obviously, production is a lot less taking daylight and weather into account.

You're always going to need a grid if you want an industrial economy.

To me the grid should just be a backup from decentralized power, like solar.

I like it very much, but I dont find a way to set a proxy to route connection trought tor.

Also seems it doesnt connect at all to any electrum servers, tryed some of the more popular public istances (I'm on linux, using the appimage, in the logs I see "error_ffi_converter" and errors related to certificates, tryed multiple servers).

The lables are cool, but I think they need to be worked a bit, trying to "delete the kyc-exchange category" just in two clicks I eneded up messing all the list, with address labeled as "kyc-exchange" and "private" in a disordered ambiguous way.

The mempool blocks visualizations is fantastic.

The initial setup also is very good, for every kind of users.

Also in my particular wayland wlroots window-manager the drag-objects sometimes bugs with the popups in a strange way, but it is something more related to how qt and the compositor works, I think it uses xwayland compatibility layer... nevermind, overall it works great.

I think this wallet is very very good, it needs just some maturity and refinement here and there to be a viable alternative to and electrum/sparrow. Will follow the development😁👍

Right now testing iOS apps to better help onboard people. Can confirm this is absolute fiat shit at every level. Can’t zap, can’t login with a key management app. Have to use some script or some browser extension, and it’s all very “trust me bro.”

It’s an awful experience. Apple makes Nostr suck. I’d go back to TikTok. “We need better onboarding!” Fuck that, we need to ditch Apple’s bullshit completely.
