I went to a hydroponics store today. I have been gardening and starting my own plants for years, but still seem to not know what I'm doing. TIL that for starting seeds, you need white light, not red & blue - those are for flowering. Who knew?! Why do the folks in my #gardening groups all seem to use r & b lights? Was also told, contrary to what I've heard before, that you can't just put grow bulbs into ordinary light fixtures, except for T5s, but that those need to be replaced annually. (!!)

I should not be allowed to talk to people early in the morning. I had one of those cringey "where are you from originally" conversations - and I couldn't stop. 😖 I am so embarrassed. Fucking broken brain.
