Well I have no idea... I minted thousands of token and never had this issue. What happens if you try to cash out?
I have a #cashu nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj question.. asking because I'm not sure if it's my ignorance (good at that sometimes) or a bug. When I enter npub, the button changes from 'paste' to 'clear' and there seems to be no obvious way to actually enter it. Am I doing something wrong or is this a reportable thing?

You dont want to type any npub yourself, so the input field makes no sense there.
It is not a one time and forget. It can be used anytime. Every mint has a dedicated options screen that looks like this:

Yes, it is the first screen (after Optional PIN)
"Mints" shows a list of Lightning nodes you are trusting in exchange for Ecash.
"QR" lets you scan LN invoices or Ecash using your camera.
