Then, just make the rim or armrest shorter. The concept of our “bowl” table, was we could set up a board game or miniatures and then put a lid on. In practice it made the table kinda uncomfortable.

Ya, the tabletop was basically normal height, but then the extra rim on it made you sit chicken-winged. Sitting on stools was better but made your thighs hit the underneath corner of the table.

My friend made a hexagon table for general gaming. The shape was nice. Especially for 3 player games, because you’re always facing equally.

We liked the shape!

We didn’t like the height (too high and the “bowl” of the table was too deep. It wasn’t quite as deep as like a craps table would be but you really felt like you’re reaching down in there.)

I wanted cup holders, but we just used side tables and TV trays which was janky.

He used felt, which wore out quickly. Should have used neoprene.

And regardless of which surface you choose neoprene/felt, you’ll want a cover for when it’s not in use!!

For every new year, I make a list of goals. I craft it over the last few weeks of the current year. Once the list is made, I try not to look at it until the next year's end. When I do, I cross out what's complete, evaluate what's left, and either add those to the new list or abandon them.

I met or surpassed 7/11 this year. 3 will carry over. 1 is being abandoned. My new list is at 13.

I'm celebrating by sitting in the silence of a tiny town, grateful for so much. One being weather nice enough to sit under the moon on the last day of the year. The others are too many to name. 💜

Mosha never counted like that, but I know she can in a way. I always give her the same number of treats, three. If I stop before the last one she will stare at me and give me a tap with her paw. After 3 she goes on her way, knowing she got the right amount. Very food oriented 😂

That's cool! Isn't it fun teaching your dog? When Mosha was younger she would fetch the toy I told her to by name. She knew about a dozen. So smart. "Where's your monkey?"

I just need to figure out a good list of relays.

And not all of them do everything and I don't really know which nips I need.

I'll read some more tutorials and work on it next year.

shipyard.pub is very basic when it comes to scheduling. i'd like to see something like hootsuite or buffer. i've used those for social media management for various brand accounts over the years and they work great. we won't get nostr added to them though unless nostr blows up and reaches the masses. someone would need to build something like that. i don't see why this couldn't be added to #notedeck to be honest. it already resembles these apps with various columns.

My little pyramid relay experiment has move from "can i do this?" to "we're doing this" in a couple weeks time ... I was never expecting so much interest and support, let alone active involvement 💜 It's pretty obvious there's a desire for diversity, places for user experimentation, and maybe some sense of community. Since the momemtum to keep this thing flowing for longer than a month present, I'm following the flow. In doing so, the community can start growing its own personality. Sticking with the existing theme (since it suits me & seems to resonate), I've renamed & changed the paths for a couple of the subrelays:
