I can confirm that none of my Coldcard devices have exploded.
It can be tough to get it to rebalance bc usually the fee to do it is uneconomical. So my channels are hardly ever balanced.

What is the best #nostr client for iPad that has ability to zap? I have been using nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg, but the iPad app is just the iPhone app and is compressed on the iPad.
