Just a random Bitcoin lover and physicist. Don’t be scared if I sometimes switch to German πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Everybody finds CBDCs harmful (for good reasons). While the US is still discussing/preparing the ground for a β€ždigital dollarβ€œ, the Russians just enforce it silently.

Information from Russians I personally know suggests that it will be introduced in a stepwise fashion. First, banks will offer it as an option in their app, creating the feeling that nothing will change for the average Joe. Second, important things like estate purchases, loans, subsidies will be paid in digital rubles. Finally, all areas of the daily life will be covered.

Of course, because we have nothing to do with the nazi scum πŸ˜‰

It’s even funnier πŸ˜‰ They came all the way from Northern Siberia and split in two flows somewhere in Eastern Europe. One half became Fins, the other Hungarians πŸ˜‚ Both don’t understand the language of the other anymore.

I see it as a bliss. US and Germany were built by people with multiple backgrounds and should be proud of it.

Iβ€˜m a wild mix. 100% Hungarian from one family side, Ukrainian/Russian from the other. But I am German in the first placeπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ🫑

πŸ–οΈ What’s up? πŸ˜‰

Rather this πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ nostr:note1hd6nhwl705l2kar8dxl4qgyf2qsklf8475vm6zlgulwrn4kshugq087tn0

I know, I know πŸ˜‰ What I said is the result of a deeper understanding. The more you understand, the less you think about price fluctuations, the less you care about markets and rare events. And the more about long-term dynamics and society effects.

Like for any complex system, it is important to generalize the fundamentals rather than memorize random events.

Oh, in that case I don’t even look for the right day. I just buy when I have spare cash and somebody takes my order πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

You know me well, #plebchain. I will never ask you to zap me by posting a LN invoice.

I DCA manually because Iβ€˜m paranoid + I don’t know exactly how much I can buy every months. I don’t use Relai or any other semi-KYC methods, only Robosats and Bisq, sometimes using cash.

And I need to see BTC price in euros to do so. Ironically, my daily job is computational physics, but I still have troubles calculating fractions and basic algebraic operations πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I guess this is my next step: only sats per dollar/euro and nothing else. I still need to have the price information because I adjust my DCAing every month…
