Well, I went to Scotland at the start of the summer with my brother for a walking and photograph expedition.
Sadly for various reasons we did no walking, and took virtually no photos . . . .
Yesterday I revisited the few I had taken and written off. This one stood out, and after a few minutes in lightroom I has this and I rather like it.
Summit of Bidean nam Bian, dusted in snow and clocked in clouds.
Ah I should probably have added something to the original post. In the UK we have a volunteer organisation of lifeboats that do rescues at sea. The RNLI https://rnli.org/, but there are a handful of totally independent boats that while they work with the RNLi they’re totally self funded and staffed (again all by volunteers this one is from Sidmouth https://www.sidmouthlifeboat.org.uk and earlier this l year I happened to be there on vacation when they had l a training session - this is them returning in the dark
I think I find wildlife photography the most rewarding, even if I'm pretty agnostic in the subgenre's and the reward for time spent gives a poor ratio . . . this is one mine of a kingfisher I particularly like.
Giving this platform try, after a little inspiration by nostr:npub1suftx60fq63eyhmqqqxq48qjmefuy20kkc8wdp5j6jmnssrzttusc4lmh2 - feels like I should post a photo so here a recent (all be it a noise) one I think I like.
