Depending on where you live, there are plenty of great firearms instructors out there. Training and practice are the key.
As far as firearms choices go, that will really just depend on what you find that you like. What works well for one person may not meet the needs of another. That being said, there's a very wide range of quality firearms out there.
It's going a be a little weird being on this platform for awhile. Normally, I prefer to read and listen to people who see and care about the things I do. But I prefer to talk with the people who don't or don't know.
