Regarding the last topic, from what I know there’s a payment button on your #nostr profile so anyone can pay your profile and not a specific note. And when paying, you can also add a comment. As a longtime anglophile I‘m listening to almost every one of your episodes and this one stands out in particular because it lays out some clear tactical steps to be taken in British politics to get the UK back on track to once again become a great & prosperous country. Not all‘s gold in Switzerland, btw., but I do strongly believe (as apparently does Phil, too) that the Swiss political model has many advantages in its favour and few downsides. And I would even go as far as rephrasing Sir Winston‘s quotation that „the Swiss political system is the worst on the planet with the exception of all others that have already been tried.“
Keep up the good work & consider running for public office in your town to be able to implement changes yourself. Small steps matter & everyone with good ideas should contribute to the change needed! That‘s also one of the basics in the Swiss political system 😉

Maybe, but from what I see the path forward to get the UK patient back on a healthy track seems obvious. There’s a lot of whining in Switzerland as well, btw. Reminds me of an old joke about the farmers putting their children the boots on the wrong way round (left and right exchanged) in order for them to learn whining from an early age 😜

Thanks for another valuable episode & for continuously sharing your insights. I totally agree that Switzerland today is but a shadow of the country only a few decades ago. This not only applies to the financial sector btw. Politics has ruined a thriving country & nobody has to be responsible because bread & games are cheap & abundant. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. What Switzerland needs is a new movement like the Reform Party in the UK who‘s willing to change quite a lot of things & have enough guts to see the task through to completion!

That‘s exactly the question! From what I‘ve read, the general consensus seems to be that the universe is moving from an ordered to a disordered (or put differently, to a maximally distributed) state. In this view, the primordial soup really was highly ordered… But I agree that that‘s really a tough (and to large extent also philosophical) question!
