About 6 months ago, I decided to join #nostr
Which, to me, was a huge leap into the unknown. I never had twitter, X, or what is called nowadays? 😅 I never really felt like I missed that too 🤷🏼♂️.
What I did know, is that I was fed up with social media in a way, I only saw ads, tiktokvideo’s and “influencers”, all that kind of bullshit (let’s be honest here).
When Meta gave me an ad of their new platform, threads, I came across The Nostr and I decided to go with it. It was a bit of a hassle to say the least 😅. I mean RELAYS? CLIENTS? Whut??
And back then, to me at least, it was a really weird place.
But once I got the hang of it, I really liked it tbh. Decentralization, zapping, true freedom of speech, kind people, However nostr:npub1qfkcklnmes45z75y7y8dkud5yll8vp5eq5ysk9rmgqdxeasv8unsrfj6kq thought I was trolling 😂
To me it feels like this has already matured a lot, even when I’ve only been around for 6 months, I feel like this has grown SO MUCH.
While being here, I learned so much about #bitcoin #lightning #coldstorage #selfcustody and many more.
I know for a fact that #nostr is a good, even great invention. And I’m thrilled to see what the future will bring 🫡
