If I was the fiat printer I’d contact big pools directly to offer them to pay in USD in order to clog the chain with fake txs, so no need to buy BTC.

The only struggle being to convince miners to be rewarded in usd but most of them would definitely agree with that sadly.

You can't create any wealth by stealing from the productive to give to the less productive people.

So overall the whole society is poorer after taxes (less good and services produced and sold).

Some may share a bigger part from a smaller pie, at best, at the expense ot others.

So 2000 USD took by taxation brings at best higher prices because people needs to keep their profits to be solvant (their is no taxe that is not eventually paid by the individual customer) plus market distortions due to improductive activity leading to less wealth on the long run, than otherwise.

At worse it rises unemployment (in case of price control or some socialist shit), decrease the quantity of good and services produced and makes everyone poorer instantly.

And ? People are still counting in USD when it comes to measure the fees they are willing to pay for their tx. If Bitcoin price increases (regardless of the way you measure it: fiat, bananas or anything) then the sat/vbyte people accept to pay will decrease at the same rate.

If I had 200USD worth of BTC I'd wait for it to be worth 10000 USD and I'd bet the fees would not follow the same trend which has been the case for many years

The LSP model could be the best trade off for self sovereign pleb users IMO

A bit of of splicing to be able to quickly change of LSP in case of censoring and it's fine. A middle size LSP or even bigger could be unregulated, kind of like the Samourai coordinator, so no mandantory KYC.

I'm a total noob and have been running a node for 2 years now, it takes time but with tools like RTL, and Thunderhub and others it's totally doable and it's obviously going to continue to improve in the coming years.

Plus you underestimate the improvement that could still come in this field. We are way better now than 3 years ago.

Lightning is maybe not the perfect solution (yet), but it already works well. As a dev you are blinded by the amount of difficulties you encounter but the ratio (results we already achieved in the LN space)/(money spent on the dev) is enormous

As far as I understand it it's not really self custody when it comes to stablecoins, as they have some sort of official backdoor into their smart contract that allow them to freeze the tokens at will...
