That has happened to me before with other apps including Primal and Nostr Nests, when there is a bug that causes an incorrect follow list to be broadcasted. There are some possible ways to fix it.
First, if you have ever used nostr:npub1n0stur7q092gyverzc2wfc00e8egkrdnnqq3alhv7p072u89m5es5mk6h0 for iOS, this is one of a couple of clients that keeps a local copy of your follow list, and will prompt you to restore it if it detects a change made by another client.
Second, Primal offers a contact and content backup service at the Premium level. Itâs not free, but it can restore your follows for you.
Third, you can try using one of a few standalone apps to recover an older version of your contacts from relays youâve connected to. One I know of is: https://follows.nostr.com but it might only work on desktop and I canât speak to its reliability.
