How can a person in a far away office possibly know what each individual child needs to know to succeed in life? There is no “one size fits all” solution to this. Some folks are meant for advanced higher learning. Some folks are fit to dig cable ditches, and there is simply nothing wrong with this.
The current dynamic of the education system, the urge for credentials over raw skill is totally fucked and is simply a vestige of the 1920s Progressive Era reliance on “professionals”.
