So it seems a whole lot of people knew exactly what happened all along but no one said anything.

Oh, so they've known all along that those people were dead but decided to string everyone for clicks. Nice.

I thought it was an odd coincidence that they'd suddenly found the wreckage right next the first place they would've looked within a few hours of the media's countdown clock running out.

I quite like Mazzy Star but I almost never listen to them because it feels like simp music.

I know some people simp for Dagmar Krause from Slapp Happy and Henry Cow too, but that's straight-up just weird.

I have a slightly irrational loathing for the British avant-prog group Henry Cow and the people involved in the project, probably because I have little time for po-faced commie posturing. That said, this track by the German band Slapp Happy, who would eventually be absorbed into Henry Cow, is great and you can see why it's been covered many times.

You're welcome. ACR deserve more love but they did put out some shit in the 80s.

Definite Northern Soul influence, I'd say despite the fact most of the original Northern Soul crowd hated funk. That scene seemed to have a huge influence on northern post-punk though, including bands you might never suspect, like The Fall.

I know, Joy Division are great and all, but sometimes don't you just wish they were a bit funkier?

A Certain Ratio have you covered, friend.

In fairness to ACR, they actually predate Joy Division and were likely a significant influence on their Factory label mates, particularly as the latter transitioned into New Order.

Great documentary. The weather stuff reminds me a lot of MKULTRA - we know they were working on it but have no idea how far they got.
