Good grief, every time I switch between clients I discover a different set notifications, including a bunch I've never seen before.
I'd be happy to. It's been a while since I recorded anything since I mostly focus on live performance these days.
Ludwig was very much at the tail end, and possibly even the last gasp of that system. Still, props to the man for his castles and for paying Wagner's bills.
I was always taken with Tolkein's description of a monarch who spent his days fussing over his collection of fine ceramics and serves no other purpose but to occupy the role of sovereign and prevent other, darker forces from assuming it. I'm not sure how that would play out these days now that we have the surveillance state, but Europe seemed to be onto something in the high middle ages, during that brief period between the end of feudalism and the beginnings of humanism.
It's amazing to me that Twitter went from "no, we don't shadowban - how could you even ask such a thing? lol" to "you will be shadowbanned by default unless you pay our monthly subscription fee" and the vast majority have been more than happy to go along with it.
Good point - it certainly depends on some form of cartel which holds a monopoly on violence. This is why I tend toward distributism and subsidiarity economically and monarchy politically.

Ah, so if people use a react on your post rather than a like - as Amethyst users often do - you don't receive any notification or sign of the interaction in Coracle. There's always something, isn't there?
By the time Spacemen 3 came to record their final album, Sonic and Jason were no longer on speaking terms and refused to be in the same studio together so it's basically a Spectrum/Spiritualized split with a shared backing band. The album is better than it has any right to be though and is probably their most underrated.
Sometimes they'd even breakdance alone. Not me though - I was always incredibly popular.
Why is nobody talking about this?
Fractional reserve banking and compound interest are the twin evils of our financial system but, while you need to move away from sound money to enable such criminality, the problem is primarily one of human corruption rather than the money supply so weeding it out will sadly require something a good deal more ruthless than libertarianism.
Granted it's something of a loaded topic but that in itself seems to have become a distraction from the actual point.
I am becoming increasingly convinced that the obsession with sound money among Austrian econ types is just a cope to avoid having to talk about the role of usury in our financial enslavement.
