This is the first large(ish) thing I've bought in Bitcoin to date.

I bought my first Bitcoin in 2016 when BTC was $625 around £500 per coin.

So my 11 night cruise to the Canaries cost me around £40 ($50) in 2016 prices 😂

Some have asked if X pays well. I ran my numbers.

Don't expect to make a living off X monetization even if you have a million followers.

During 2024, X paid me a little under $5K total on 83M impressions.

It's a nice perk, but well under minimum wage for the time I spend there.

The US should print dollars and buy bitcoin only from folks abroad at a premium effectively exporting all of our inflation to the world, as is our custom. This is my sinister-dark take for the day. You're welcome.
