I feel like the writing for films has got significantly more lazy in recent years, and I don’t think it’s the fault of the writers - it’s more likely pressure and deadlines. Plots written by committee and the like

I get that Apple have issues, but they’re not a bad “Standard option” despite being pricey - low configuration, “just works”, works well with powerful hardware.
Also they’re probably the only platform (and Apple themselves are a platform) that spans basically every way of computing. Not always the best, but there is always an ability to do it and generally quite well
Glad the iPhone has moved over to USB C - it’s long overdue. Overall a pretty good event yesterday
