I reached out to Fold customer support and they were very fast and as helpful as they could be. I guess the slow transfers are just part of being connected to the fiat banking system. Maybe if they start allowing joint accounts, I will set up direct deposit and ditch my traditional bank.
I’m going to keep trying. It still seems like a cool idea to me.
Oh and now that I have money in there, I go try to buy a gift card and it won’t let me because I haven’t received my Fold card in the mail yet. So far, not so good.
Wow! I sent money to my Fold card account last Wednesday and it finally showed up today! Bitcoin fixes this!
You’re not missing much from what I can tell. I won’t be using it if my money is found to be tied up several days every time I want to find my account. So fiat
Anyone have any experience with the Fold card? I decided to try it out and so far it hasn’t been great. I deposited some money into my Fold account last Wednesday, it’s now Monday and the funds haven’t made it to Fold. This kind of stuff drives me crazy.
