I can send email out fine (except Hotmail blocks me for now) but it just can't recieve. Smtp is exclusive to the ISPs service it seems.
Too be fair, I had never initially intended to set one up one I had started with the service.
I feel it is quite important now (I need to gtf away from google)
Yea, option two sounds appealing! I looked unto Teksavvy and they offer faster speeds for $20/m less! They are our last independent provider too π
All my certificate issues went away when I switched over to Njinx... it was much simpler getting setup than my first reverse proxy too
Spent a few hours getting an email server setup just to find out my ISP blocks port 25 inbound. What a productive day.
Yea, it's not fun. Just getting started though, so buckle up!

If our censorship bill goes through we need to utilize malicious compliance and grind the system to a halt, Soviet style. Every frivolous claim of hate speech, no matter how dubious, should be reported.
It's a great time to advertise Nostr to people.
"Everything you had to trust performs worse than our free, open, decentralized alternative: Nostr! Dont make the same mistake twice!"
Facebook, Instagram, and Threads were all down

And Nostr is still going. No downs yet, to my knowledge.
An unfortunate consequence of such open freedom.
I wonder how many care?

Wait, wait, wait... there is editing now?! Is this a preview or a release?
Dick Cuckerson is definitely a meme. I certainly hope nobody is unfortunate enough to have a name like that. π€£
I prefer SimpleX since it's decentralized and more anonymous, but Signal has less bugs (SimpleX is still working on things) and some more features.
One thing I noticed is that SimpleX never deletes messages. You can view the deleted message in the history still. Signal deletes the messages.
