I AM

You can't get out of Now

It is the flowing of the Tao

There is no need to relax

There is only Now and you can't escape the flow

You can't get out of Now, and you never will

Now realise that Now is the same thing as Tao, or the presence of God, so there's no need to get with it, because you can't get out of it!

When I was a kid, I was interested in aerospace engineering.

My half-brother (who is 30 years older than me and was therefore old enough to be an uncle and had that kind of relationship to me) spent his career as an engineer and then an executive at a major aerospace defense contractor.

He was the most accomplished person of my family and was raising a happy family, he always kind of represented a role model of who I wanted to be. Hard-working, successful, well-off, and with good priorities around building a happy family.

As I studied math and science in high school and engineering in college, I assumed that would probably go work for the same company as him one day (which two of his three kids do now). As a teenager, I could tell you how many aircraft carrier groups the US had, roughly how many B-2 bombers the US had, how much they cost, the technical pros and cons of various fighter jets, comparative missile arsenals among global powers, etc.

But when it came time to graduate and go into engineering (during the Iraq War which I opposed), I couldn’t do it. It’s not that I am opposed to advancing aerospace or making weapons for sovereign defense per se, but rather that I didn’t agree with how the US military structurally uses its weapons globally.

I began focusing on industrial automation instead, and then ended up in civil aerospace engineering (with a focus on electrical engineering). That area captured some of what I liked about the field of aerospace engineering, but was focused on making aircraft safer and more efficient, rather than more deadly. I spent a decade there in a rewarding career, and followed a similar career path as my half-brother, meaning that I went from engineer to senior engineer to management and finance for the engineering facility, and so forth. But for peace rather than for war.

I eventually left the work due to my financial research business growing and overshadowing my engineering work in terms of scale. I had always done financial research work part time as my passion, but at some point it took off and that made it uneconomical to work in engineering/management anymore.

After several years of focusing on financial research, I got into bitcoin venture investing in part to help fund engineers and assist them in building things, which was basically what I was doing in my prior role in aerospace and is something I am still strongly drawn to.

Anyway, I thought of this as escalations flared in the Middle East this weekend. It’s amazing how small decisions or pivot points can affect where we end up in life.

Great post. I think the #Bitaxe project would benefit from your engineering expertise ⚡🍄🙏

The man of character lives at home without exercising his mind and performs actions without worry.

The notions of right and wrong and the praise and blame of others do not disturb him.

When within the four seas all people can enjoy themselves, that is happiness for him.

When all people are well provided, that is peace for him.

Sorrowful in countenance, he looks like a baby who has lost its mother. Appearing stupid, he goes about like one who has lost his way.

He has plenty of money to spend and does not know where it comes from. He drinks and eats just enough and does not know where the food comes from.

The Self Unending.

Are you a person? A soul encased in a physical human organism? I do not think so.

Have you been searching for something? God? Nirvana? Happiness? Fulfillment?

All of those things are merely a hallucination. They are a miss-framing of reality.

By seeking those things you are putting the answer outside of your reach. You are casting an impenetrable chasm between you and the destination.

You are not your ego

You are not a person.

You are not separate.

Do you believe that you are separate? It's encoded in our language!

Get a hold of yourself (the separate person getting hold of and the separate self!)

Pull yourself together (the puller and the pulled)

The endless search for enlightenment is the same as the snake that chases its own tail.

You are the snake, you are chasing enlightenment, or God. But if you could see a little further out of the narrow field of our conscious awareness - you would see the God you chase is connected to something, in fact it's part of you. Just like the snake, as you chase the thing, it moves away from you in equal proportion to the effort of the seeker.

You are the God that you are chasing, so therefore - the only way to find the Self, is to understand that you cannot find it, You are that! Tvat Vam Asi, As said by the great philosopher Lao Tzu over 2600 years ago

“The Tao is like a well:

used but never used up.

It is like the eternal void:

filled with infinite possibilities.”

You do not need enlightening

You need to liberate yourself from the hallucination of separateness from Brahman that you have been fooled into believing.

Look at this question from another point of view.

Can you look into your own eye?

Can you touch your hand with that same hand?

In the same way,

just as fire can't burn itself

A knife can't cut itself

Light can’t illuminate itself

You cannot know yourself!

Why? Because you are infinite!

Quantum entanglement studies have shown, that there are no separate physical atoms in the UniVerse - there are only wave events - or patterns. Atoms are 99.9999 recurring - empty space.

What is space? Space is merely the background to the foreground, the page to the inkscape, the sheet to the notations - the silence to the music.

The ground you are standing on, it’s not really there. The table and chairs you are using at this very minute - do not physically exist.

Lay your hand on your table. Feel the wood beneath your hand. Did you just touch the table? Did you really? Quantum physics tells us that you did not. There was no physical touching, there was only electron disbursement between the electrons in your hand, and the electrons in the table.

So if you are mostly empty space, and you have never touched anything in your entire life, are you really here?

This landscape of ideas I am telling you about can be compressed down to simply - ‘conscious awareness is all that there is.’ Or in the words of Max Planck in 1931….

“I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.”

I suppose the squares might say this is all theoretical hog-wash, and it could never be proven.

This is not true. There is a way to test this. If you could alter your consciousness, and the so called physical world altered too - you would have proven it.

There is a way to do this, LSD is one, Psilocybin, and of course, DMT - take any psychedelic plant and you will see the world start to change. I have taken DMT and seen the ground change into a grid like pattern vortex. Everything becomes very obviously digital. And if you look at another person, or indeed yourself - you might just see something truly fantastic. That you are not a lowly, physical organism, you are Shiva, the Brahman itself. Divine to the nth degree.

This is, of course, why such plants must be kept from the public at all costs. It would not do to have people seeing themselves, and the world, for what it is underneath the veil - only to drop out of the status game in droves…..

If you were an infinite source of information (or patterns) like a wave of musical thoughts.

You would forever be expanding and dividing and multiplying yourself. Otherwise you could not exist.

So if you want to cease the anxiety of your existence - stop identifying with your constricted ego, and realize who and what you really are!

You're an aperture of the universe, seeing itself anew.

And you are infinitely beautiful

Have a look in the mirror, you can see it. You see those wells of infinite beauty.

And realize that you don't need “it”, you are “it”!
