Unfortunately the RTLSDR part of the #hackergadgets board for my #clockworkpi #uconsole was faulty.

A quick email to Vileer and a replacement arrived in a few weeks. I’ve just fitted it today and it works. 🙌 https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/0eb753c91802ff10e9d5b2af53bee00419900e1f7db87763a2bd1317f9f0572d/52391eb6491aa1d813658aa404f6a19b35eda6e6aa09b5ba8d0a2db4c6da1cb0.webp

I should have sent this post out earlier but if nothing else there is a cool timelapse video at the end of it of some #3dprinting

In #3d printing world I’ve been experimenting with some clear PETG. Might print some of my Turret and K6ARK cases with it.

Oh, maybe even a TP-III #cw paddle case case…

My #clockworkpi #uconsole arrived this week (just after my #hackergadgets SDR extension board).

I fitted a #raspberrypi CM5 in it and compiled PiHPSDR to connect to my Pluto+ which I use for #qo100.

This thing is 🔥 https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/0eb753c91802ff10e9d5b2af53bee00419900e1f7db87763a2bd1317f9f0572d/bef8771b9737e31c1a3c79d2b4aac25e5c825371ed3117aa41d49cddbaca6a69.webp

Based on the hard work of Adam, K6ARK I designed a PCB which does all the work of the connections and designed a case for it.

I think it looks like a Turret from the game Portal, hence its name.

For the last few months I’ve been offering the K6ARK super-compact microphone as a kit over in my shop: https://shop.g7ufo.radio/products/kit-k6ark-mini-microphone-for-qmx-trusdx-usdx-fx-4cr-zbitx-kx2-and-kx3

My plan was also to provide assembled versions as well but I found the soldering too fiddly for any sort of speedy assembly. https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/0eb753c91802ff10e9d5b2af53bee00419900e1f7db87763a2bd1317f9f0572d/059459e31cf6c3c565b9b09fc1aca69729cffefa22a01c74e1a597b9b41f6d55.webp

Have been working hard on #3dprint designs for the new CTR2-Dial controller for #smartsdr #flexradio #thetis.

Delighted to be producing the full unit for the UK and EU markets. Check out my blog post for an overview.
