Hi nostr, getting to the end of a busy day again. It was a gorgeous day, got up into the 70's and very sunny. But we're not done with winter. My chickens are doing great, they gave me 4 eggs today, including one green one.

Nostr keeps getting better and better, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes next. I love the fact that people on nostr are just real, and down to earth. I'm happy to be here.

My children's composition is finished. It looks great and tastes good, too. My six year old approves! It will store in the fridge for a few months (better in an amber jar, but this is what I had available).

Good morning nostr, woke up to 18 degrees F today, and will be even colder the next 2 nights. Not as extreme as the temps many of you get, but nothing in this area is built for really cold weather. A couple years ago, we got down to 8 F, and so many homes had burst pipes, which led to many other problems, it was a mess. So we're doing all we can to try to prevent freezing issues.

Today we'll be keeping an eye on the critters and go out and break the ice off their water buckets every now and then, as we wont be getting above freezing at all. Other than that, i'll be cleaning the bnb cabin, which i didnt get around to doing yesterday. We just got back from church and picking up some things at the grocery store, and i'm having a coffee before we brave the outdoors to do a last check of everything before the cold really sets in.
